JOB
TITLE: AEM Developer
Involved in design of custom components and templates,
development, testing and production deployment phases of the project using
Agile Methodologies. Work with adobe technologies AEM (6.1, 6.2, 6.3, 6.4 &
6.5), know the difference in features, new features introduced, coordinate with
authors and provide solution’s or improvements to achieve the desired
performance of the site and technical requirement/ functionality. Work with Java, CSS, Html and Java script to
create custom components, servlets, filter and schedulers. Responsible for
leading onsite, offshore model. Work with back-end team for the content POD (a
small agile team focused on creating new content, new components, templates,
digital experience and its maintenance). Import content from other content
management systems and integrate with adobe experience manager to generate the
article pages. Import content form Truedit CMS and
K4. Work on classic UI to touch UI migration as part of team. Implement AEM
product migration from 6.1 to 6.3. Keep track of adobe service pack releases,
note what issues it resolves to decide whether to implement or not. Involved in
implementing migration to cloud services, i.e. adobe migrations services.
Responsible for creating the editable templates and experience fragments which
are the latest feature of adobe experience manager. Work with Splunk for
tracing logs and write queries to generate logs and reports for warnings and
errors. Work with Bright-cove team to upgrade the Brightcove plugins using in
AEM and fetch necessary values or parameters from Brightcove Api. Perform unit test and always check for accessibility and
responsiveness on all devices. Utilization of browser Stack to test the pages on various browsers and
view ports (real time mobile devices) Using context hub for personalization.
Provide personalize content to end user. Roadmap to provide country and
states-based personalization. Act as point of contact for production issues and
escalations. Make sure the dev team would always update the tickets status time
to time and make sure to unblock the tickets if they are blocked. Perform code
review within the pods and outside the pods to make sure no impacts within the
pod or outside the pods due to bad code. Identify the code causing the build
issues and resolve the issues. Work with Jenkin jobs to create curl expressions
and run the builds.
JOB REQUIREMENT:
Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer
Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Engineering or a related field, plus
2 years of experience. In lieu of the above, we will also accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information
Systems, Computer Engineering, Engineering or a related field plus 5 years of
progressively responsible experience. Foreign degree equivalent is acceptable.
We will also accept any suitable combination of education, training and/or
experience. Experience to include working with AEM 6.1, 6.2, 6.3, 6.4; Jenkins, Splunk, Browser Stack, Truedit, K4, CMS, Brightcove, Java, HTML, CSS.
HOURS: M-F, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
JOB LOCATION: Doylestown, PA. Travel not required, but candidates must be willing
to relocate to unanticipated locations across the country per contract demand.
